As grateful as I am for the sunshine making an appearance this week, dressing for the heat is another story entirely. I’ll admit, the heat can get to me, which is why lightweight linen staples become my non-negotiable at this time of year. Enter: M&S’s bestselling linen-rich maxi wrap skirt, a style that, for my 5ft 3in frame, thankfully comes in a petite fit.
Usually, the word ‘maxi’ would have alarm bells ringing in my head. However, anyone else who falls into the petite category will likely already be well acquainted with the joys of shopping at M&S. In fact, almost all of my skirts come from their rails, as the proportions are always spot on - no awkward dragging along on the floor.
