If you live in the UK, I'd bet your weather app is the most used application on your phone. And it makes sense, after all. So far, June has seen temperatures hit unimaginable highs, followed by overcast days that cool things back down to 20°C. And lest we forget the thunder and lightning storm that swept across the capital last week - seasonal whiplash, if you will.
So, when I read that temperatures were set to climb to 30°C once again next week, I wasn't exactly surprised. I was, however, sent into a sartorial panic. After last week's heat, I knew I needed genuinely non stick, cooling clothes that still looked stylish, and didn't cost a small fortune.
Naturally, then, my first port of call was Sainsbury's and its in house brand, Tu. Linen takes centre stage in the latest drop, with pieces that are every bit as good as - if not better than - those from collections past. Think easy, breathable styles you'll reach for all summer long.
Shop the five key pieces I think are essential additions to your wardrobe if you want to survive next week's heatwave.
