Practical comfort and chic style are the bread and butter of Uniqlo. The Japanese brand know a thing or two about nailing an outfit formula that won't sacrifice fashion points, but will also keep you comfortable during day to day outings. So, it wasn't necessarily a surprise when I found a pair of trousers that did both of these things, making them the ultimate travel trouser for my next holiday this summer.
As we've discussed here at GH, there are a few things that define the ultimate travel trousers. Typically designed in a relaxed cut, with a soft waistband and crafted from crease resistant fabric, Uniqlo's airport trousers come with all the things that make them so useful for long haul (and short haul) flights.
The best part? This version comes crafted from a knitted fabric (not at all itchy, either), which is great news in keeping you cosy when the air conditioning is rather unforgiving.
They come in five endlessly flattering and versatile muted and nude shades, including my personal favourite - the chocolate brown, a style I think will work beyond the summer months.
Available in sizes XXS to XXS, these trousers will suit anyone, no matter your silhouette. Surprisingly, they are yet to completely sell out, but now that they're well and truly on the fashion map, I'd predict they'll start to fly off the shelves in record time.
