M&S apparently sells 10 pairs of jeans every minute. For an affordable price tag, up-to-date styles and breadth of offering, it really can't be beaten these days.
The style we keep going back to is the brand's sellout mid-rise barrel-leg jeans, which cost just £40. Comfortable on the waist and flattering on the legs, thanks to the slight taper at the bottom, they've been our go-to for the past few seasons.
But, how do you make a bestseller even better? You bring it out in animal print, of course. M&S has just released the jean in three prints for autumn: a classic leopard print; a brown snakeskin; and, our particular favourite, a dalmatian print.
They also come in five leg lengths, ranging from extra short to extra long, which means you can have them as cropped as you want (our biggest fashion bugbear is when you buy a cropped trouser and find it's only actually cropped if you're supermodel height).
And with these jeans, you don't really need any extra styling. Simply pair with a black knit and some A/W26 glove ballet pumps or kitten heels and you're done. A white shirt or tee would also work perfectly.
The jeans have hundreds of five-star reviews online, with comments including: 'A must-have – great trousers, good quality and excellent fit. They look just as they do online,’ and 'Love these. So comfy and flattering. First barrel leg jeans I’ve liked and who doesn’t adore leopard print?!’. We really couldn't agree more.
The only problem? They're selling out very fast. Despite coming in a wide range of sizes, from 6 to 24, some are already out of stock. We'll race you to the checkout!
