These are the sandals I just wore for a trip to Alicante and the sole is super spongey and comfortable to walk on, thanks to clever cushioning in the sole, which diffuses pressure and supports natural alignment.
Do note that the straps can rub initially (as they're canvas) but they are fully adjustable so if you get the fit right, you should be okay. I love the functional look of these and they go well with jeans, long-line denim shorts and summery co-ords.
This style also comes in a dark denim (now just £49) if you prefer.
FitFlop GRACIE Perf-Leather H-Bar Slides
These leather H-bar sandals (with hidden toe post) look similar to a luxury Hermes pair but with all the FitFlop comfort tech applied, from the cut-out side panels for extra ventilation to the discreet, high-rebound pillows in the slim sole, which help to absorb impact and relieve pressure on your joints (something you won't get in most summer sandals).

Fisherman sandals are a big trend for S/S26, and these ones are crafted from a rich, luxury leather with a gold buckle that lets you adjust the fit. There's also reduced stitching to create a minimalist, modern take on the look.

I'm sort of obsessed with these quilted walking sandals, which are available in cool khaki and classic black (although sizes are low).
They're made from buttery soft leather so they shouldn't rub your skin and you get all that signature FitFlop design, which means cushioned soles, natural arch support and grip suited to country paths and light trails, so you can take them walking.
Simply after a classic flip flop that won't rub? That's what FitFlop does best and the Gracie is made for comfort. You've got lots of cushioning in the slim sole, which is also slip-resistant.
