- Mamma Mia! The Party has opened at London's O2 Arena, and it's everything you could hope for from an ABBA-themed evening.
- The gig venue is turned into a Greek style taverna with eating, drinking and dancing, as well as actors and singings entertaining you throughout the evening.
If you're a huge ABBA fan, then 2018 was a great year for you, thanks to the wonderful release of the highly-anticipated Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
And while the movie was brilliant, despite a couple of plot holes, we're already turning our minds to a third film in order to fill the void that now exists in our lives. Sadly, while nothing of the sort has been announced, the good people over at ABBA have answered our prayers in one way or another, with a new immersive Mamma Mia! restaurant. Yep, restaurant.
Mamma Mia! The Party has been a huge success in Sweden over the last three years, and the attraction has just launched at London's O2 Arena. And yeah, the all-singing, all-dancing show looks pretty special.
The show/meal/party night involves a Greek taverna with plenty of food, drink and, of course, ABBA tunes and dancing, as well as some storytelling along the way.
Once the guests have finished eating, the whole scene is transformed into a disco, a very glittery disco, and everyone can dance the feta off while “having the time of your lives”. It's taken over London's O2 Arena, and tickets are available right up until February 2020!
Reviews on Twitter have been very positive. "Mamma Mia! The Party was insane!" one person wrote, while a second commented. "OMG I went to the Mamma Mia live show and it was the best thing ever."
What to read next
A third added, "Mamma Mia! The Party was arguably the greatest night of my life."
We need to go.
