One phrase we’ve heard on repeat in the GH office this week: ‘Have you seen the bank holiday weather forecast?’ Which can only mean one thing — it’s officially Pimm’s o’clock.

To make sure you’re fully stocked ahead of the heatwave, we’ve price-checked all the major retailers to find the best Pimm’s deals available right now, including how to get a 1L bottle for as little as £10 (down from around £23.50).

We checked prices at Asda, Co-op, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose. (Aldi, Lidl and M&S aren’t included as they don’t currently stock it, while Iceland appears to have sold out.)

Right now, Tesco and Sainsbury’s are the cheapest, with both supermarkets offering a 1L bottle for just £10 – a better-than-half-price saving. There’s a catch, though: you’ll need either a Clubcard or Nectar membership to unlock the deal. Both offers are valid until 25 May, giving you just enough time to stock up for summer.

Weirdly, it’s currently cheaper to buy the larger 1L bottle than the smaller 70cl version, which costs £14 at both Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

Elsewhere, ASDA is running a similarly good deal, bringing the price of a litre bottle down to £10.50 as part of its current Rollback promotion, down from £17.

Morrisons is also selling 1L bottles for £10, although only in-store. Online, the same bottle still costs £14.

Ocado only stocks the smaller 70cl bottle, currently priced at £14.25, while at Co-op, you’ll find it for £15.75. Over at Waitrose, the same size bottle currently costs £19.75.

If you don’t mind going down the dupe route, Lidl’s Summer Punch and Aldi Austin’s are both priced at £8.49 over the bank holiday weekend. Tesco also sells its own-brand Summer Cup version for £9.

Strawberries, cucumber and mint at the ready!
