The perfect Friday night exists because M&S has just brought back its much-loved Steak & Chips Dine In deal. And really is there anything better than a perfectly cooked steak, golden chips and your favourite glass of wine after a long week?

The popular Dine In deal has officially returned to M&S Foodhalls, serving up a steakhouse-style dinner for two for just £14. At £7 per person, it's really a no-brainer and feels like one of the best-value Friday night treats around, especially when a steak dinner out can easily cost four times as much.

The deal includes a main, a side and a sauce, with 120 possible combinations to choose from and savings of up to £8.25 compared with buying everything separately. There's plenty of choice depending on your ideal steak night, making it easy to mix and match your favourites.

Choose between British Rump Steak, British Sirloin Steak or, if beef isn't your thing, a British Roast-in-the-Bag Rotisserie Chicken. Then it's time to build your perfect plate, whether that's crispy frites with creamy peppercorn sauce, garlic & herb Hasselback potatoes with Béarnaise, or classic chunky chips paired with Diane sauce.

If you want to know our dream combination, we're keeping it classic: sirloin steak, frites and peppercorn sauce. Simple, comforting and exactly the sort of dinner we crave at the end of the week.

The Steak & Chips Dine In deal is available in M&S Foodhalls from 30 September until 13 October, so you've got just under a fortnight to make the most of it. Race you to it!
