This slim model from Ecovacs impressed with its host of great features, from the top-level technology to the 10-in-1 docking station with hot water washing and drying for the mop pads. It proved itself as a quick, effective cleaner in many areas when testing.

There’s a lot to love about this great value robot vacuum, but one of our favourite things about it is its mapping skills. It cleaned the whole room in under 20 minutes, after self-mapping the space, and worked from corner to corner while avoiding no-go zones.
We used a slower brush speed for cleaning hard floors (you can adjust this in the app) and found this delivered the best performance. The robot picked up light debris like cereal well too but struggled with larger crumbs and ingrained dust in the carpet pile.
The mop feature worked very well, wiping up fresh spills quickly, but dried stains were difficult to shift. Tackle tough and sticky messes fast though, and this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
