With all due respect to the Gigis and Haileys of the world, Jenna Bush Hager is my fashion icon. (She recently dethroned Dr. Mindy Lahiri.) Every morning, I tune in excitedly to see what the TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host will wear on air, and she’s had some real bangers lately (see Exhibit A, below).
Her white eyelet blazer Veronica Beard blazer has me looking to replace all my denim jackets. And this rubgy tee is the platonic ideal of off-duty weekend chic. Plus, she styles herself. (Or at least she did as of 2024, when she last commented on her wardrobe), which makes me adore her sartorial choices even more.
But what I’m really here to talk about is the green gingham midi she wore this week, which after some detective work, I found on the preppy playground, Tuckernuck. I might not be out here interviewing all four living former presidents like my gal JBH, but hey, it’s still journalism.

Featuring a drop waist–a key dress trend this season–and the cheeriest fresh-from-a-picnic vibe, it’s so cute, I’m flirting with becoming a Rent the Runway person just to try it. Her dress also had me with two magical words: “machine washable.”
While I patiently wait for Jenna’s emerald beauty to go on sale, I’m sharing a few wallet- friendlier versions here. They all come in more traditional shades as well if you prefer classic black or blue hues.
