Plaid is having a major moment this fall, and two of our favorite style icons are already making the case for it. Last week, Kate Middleton stepped out in a gorgeous plaid skirt—and recently, Jenna Bush Hager gave us her own polished take while hosting an episode of Today.
While her outfit might look like a dress, Jenna is wearing a two-piece jacquard set by luxury fashion designer Lela Rose, who’s known for her romantic and elegant aesthetic. Jenna has actually worn the outfit on the show at least once before, reminding us that a great outfit doesn't need to be a one-time thing.

Unfortunately, Jenna’s exact set is completely sold out—but I was able to find some similar pieces that embrace the trend. While I couldn’t find an identical look-alike, I’ve included some Amazon, Madewell, and Anthropologie dresses that exude the same polished feel.
To style, take a note from Jenna. Since the plaid does most of the work, everything else can stay minimal. Solid pumps or flats make a great office choice, or you can try a sleeker knee-high boot for elevated dressing beyond the workplace.
You could also add some dainty jewelry like Jenna did, or you can accessorize with a headband or hair bow in a similar color. If it’s chilly, a light sweater or trench never hurts. Then, you can grab a handbag that shares one of the tones in your own plaid pattern. Et voila, you’ve got yourself a look.
