Fans of MacKenzie-Childs’ checkered dinnerware and decor now have a new reason to get excited. While the brand’s recognizable pattern has always come in a variety of colors, recently it released a new hue that is perfect for all of your spring hosting.

On April 29, MacKenzie-Childs launched it’s latest collection: Sky Check. The iconic, hand-painted checker pattern is now available in a fresh, airy light blue shade.

Social media was quick to respond with many customers sharing their excitement to get their hands on the new color. “So dreamy!,” one person commented on Instagram. “This is the color I've been waiting for 😍🩵,” another person shared. “This color has me rethinking my whole house… I’m obsessed,” a third added.

And they aren’t the only ones who are fans of the brand. Our pros in the Good Housekeeping Institute have noted that the brand stands out when it comes to design. In our round up of best butter dishes, the Sterling Check Butter Box was ranked as the most design-forward.

According to the MacKenzie-Childs website, the new shade is available in dinnerware, serveware, coffee gear (such as mugs and kettle), and home decor (you can even snag a lampshade in the new color). And items appear to range in price from $49.95 to $249.95.

The brand encourages mixing and matching, so if you want to pair your newly purchased Sky Check mug with a Mocha check plate, the more the merrier!
