There’s truly nothing better than plopping into bed after a long day and being met with buttery-soft sheets—and if yours are feeling a little “meh” lately, it might be time to swap ‘em out. I first heard about Mellanni sheets about six years ago while searching the web for affordable bedding (life of an e-commerce editor)—and since then, they’ve accumulated over 380,000 Amazon ratings and 4.4 stars. It’s hard to ignore a product when it’s that popular (and of course, much cheaper than its competitors).

They’re soft, shrink-resistant, and surprisingly durable (after a test of 1,000 rubs, they didn’t pill—and they also kept their shape after being washed and dried five times). However, they aren’t as crisp as cotton sheets, so keep that in mind if you prefer more structure.
Still, our testers couldn’t stop raving about Mellanni after testing them. One tester reported they were “the softest sheets” they’ve ever touched, while another said, “These sheets are so soft. And when you get into bed, you feel like you’re on a cloud.” Another called them “smooth and luxurious.”
