New episodes of The Voice season 30 are airing on NBC, and the coaches this time around are epic.
Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah, and Adam Levine will each mentor a team, and fans are ready to see who they select. And while folks love the current coaches, they can’t help but wonder where Reba McEntire is this time around, after last appearing in season 28.
Well, much to our disappointment, Reba McEntire isn’t on The Voice season 30. Instead, she has other projects in the works.
Fans know that The Voice isn't the only TV show Reba works on for NBC. She is also the star of Happy's Place, which is currently gearing up for season 3 on Friday, October 23, 2026. On Happy's Place, she works alongside her Reba co-star Melissa Peterman and fiancé Rex Linn—and her decision to leave The Voice might just be a matter of prioritization.
Back in December 2025, Reba opened up about working alongside her loved ones, particularly Rex, during an appearance on the Today show.
"We have a blast," she explained at the time. "We're so grateful and thankful that we get to go to work together, work together, and then go home together."
Reba herself celebrated The Voice this week with a sentimental Instagram post.
“#TheVoice is back tonight on @nbc for the 30th season! 🤯,” she wrote on September 21. “Glad I got to keep that chair warm for a few seasons... I’m sending my love to the coaches and wishing good luck to all the contestants 🎤❤️ @nbcthevoice.”
Reba first appeared as an advisor for Blake Shelton during the season 1 battle rounds, and was also an advisor for the Knockouts in seasons 8 and 23. She’s been a coach on the show four times, mentoring in seasons 24 through 26, then returning for season 28.
No matter the case, we can't wait for the day we (hopefully) get to see Reba on The Voice once again!
