The Voice alum Michael Bublé will star in a new TV series for Amazon Prime Video.
Michael is teaming up with Drew Scott from the Property Brothers in Hometown Giants, premiering on Friday, October 16, 2026.
Michael Bublé is trading music for hockey in an exciting new project.
The singer is teaming up with home expert Drew Scott of the Property Brothers for the new series Hometown Giants, which follows the Western Hockey League’s Vancouver Giants, a Vancouver-based junior hockey team that Drew co-owns and Michael has a minority stake in.
The show dropped a first-look trailer on Instagram and revealed that all six episodes of Hometown Giants will drop on Friday, October 16, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video.
“The stakes just got Giant,” the caption read on the September 28 post. “Watch #HometownGiants October 16 on Prime Video.”
Fans were absolutely thrilled to see this announcement.
“Wow so excited I can't wait to watch this ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥👏👏,” one person exclaimed in the comments. “Well done boys!! Canada needs to watch this! ❤️,” another agreed. “3 of my favorite things Bublé, Drew Scott and hockey!? Can't wait!!” a different follower added.
Hometown Giants will follow the Vancouver Giants as they pursue their first championship in 19 years, People reports. The series was filmed during the 2025-2026 season.
“This is one step below pro, but these are teenagers,” Michael said in the trailer. “The best young hockey players, and they’ve all come here chasing the same thing ... I don’t think there’s anything more compelling than seeing somebody fight for their life.”
We’re definitely intrigued, and we can’t wait to see the show!
