The Voice season 30 is currently airing on NBC.

The network announced a schedule change that will impact the rest of the season.

The show will also adopt a new voting structure.

The Voice fans, you’ll want to pay attention to this.

Season 30 is already underway, and viewers have been tuning in to watch Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Adam Levine, and Queen Latifah build their teams. With the show in the middle of the Battle Rounds, NBC has news about what to expect.

According to an October 12 report from TV Insider, The Voice will air just one episode per week starting Monday, October 19, 2026. This is due to NBC’s new multi-year partnership with the NBA; the network will air basketball games during the show’s regular Tuesday timeslot. That means The Voice will air only one day a week, and the new structure will last through the end of the season.

Another big change: This year, The Voice chose to forgo the Knockout Rounds. Instead, season 30 will have a “Cut Week,” where the coaches will choose two artists from their teams to advance to the Live Rounds. The others will compete for the final spots on the teams.

For the Live Rounds, the show will adopt a voting format similar to Dancing With the Stars. Meaning: both performances and eliminations will happen on the same night—something The Voice has never done before.

“It’s real-time voting,” executive producer Audrey Morrissey told TV Insider in a separate September 2026 interview. “So, everybody performs, and we find out that night who’s moving on.”

Talk about some major changes!
