Just months after her TV series The Way Home ended on Hallmark, Annie will star in the upcoming holiday film A Grand Biltmore Christmas, premiering on December 5 on Hallmark—and she’s working on a new project with Netflix.
According to a report from Deadline on August 26, Andie will appear in the upcoming movie Guarding Stars alongside Jared Padalecki and Leighton Meester. Based on Katherine Center’s 2022 novel The Bodyguard, the movie premieres on November 18, 2026, on Netflix.
Fans were ecstatic about the new gig.

Guarding Stars follows a curmudgeonly bodyguard assigned to protect an action star during the holiday season. When both parties realize the other isn’t as bad as they thought, sparks fly—along with secrets that bring a bit of drama ahead of Christmas.
This film is directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum (Aquamarine, Purple Hearts) and also features country music star Walker Hayes (making his acting debut), My Life With the Walter Boys star Noah LaLonde, and WWE star CM Punk.
“The overwhelming enthusiasm on social media and with readers for Katherine Center’s novel was a major factor in my decision to come on board as director,” Elizabeth told Netflix’s Tudum in January 2026. “It’s been amazing to work closely with Katherine so far and to see her so excited about moving her witty story about a no-nonsense bodyguard [for] an A-list actor into the holiday season. It makes the most gorgeous backdrop for the sparks that fly between them to be even brighter.”
