Jennifer Love Hewitt currently stars on 9-1-1 as Maddie Buckley Han.

The Ghost Whisperer alum teased which actress she’d love to see guest star on 9-1-1 season 9.

Jennifer also has a surprise history with the Hollywood icon she has hopes to see appear on the ABC drama.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has worked with some of the best actors in the business—and she has ideas about one star she’d love to see on 9-1-1.

With the hit ABC drama dropping new season 9 episodes every Thursday night, fans get the chance to see Jennifer as emergency dispatcher Maddie Buckley Han work alongside an incredible ensemble. The show has had plenty of incredible guests appear over the years (see: Mark Consuelos, who guest-starred on the season 9 premiere back in October 2025).

There always seems to be a storyline that a special guest star could seamlessly slip into, but does Jennifer have thoughts about who she’d love to see pop up on 9-1-1? Apparently, a particular Hollywood legend and Oscar winner is at the top of her dream list, according to what Jennifer told People in an interview published on February 19. She even admitted to planning for how this iconic actress could be folded into the latest season.

“My dream would be Jamie Lee Curtis,” she shared with the outlet. “I love her so much, and I have always had this secret storyline in the back of my mind that I think she would be incredible for, which I can't say what it is, but I would love to make that happen.”

Now, THIS is a moment we’d absolutely love to see on 9-1-1.

For those who don’t know, Jennifer and Jamie have a surprise work history. The duo previously got together on the 1996 comedy House Arrest, and they’ve managed to stay in touch over the last three decades. What’s more, Jamie has already worked with 9-1-1 executive producer Ryan Murphy on the series Scream Queens, which ran for two seasons from 2015 through 2016.

Even though we don’t know if Jamie appearing on 9-1-1 will ever come to fruition, at least there’s some drama already in the works for this week’s episode. With the February 26 installment featuring a bachelor audition for the LAFD, it seems like some key members of the 118 will find themselves involved in ways they didn’t expect.

Now, we can only hope Jennifer’s acting wishes will come true!
