9-1-1 season 10 premieres Thursday, October 15, 2026, on ABC.
Fans rallied around star Oliver Stark after news broke of an on-set injury.
As 9-1-1 gears up for the season 10 premiere on Thursday, October 15, 2026, on ABC, star Oliver Stark is recovering from an unexpected health scare.
An October 9 Deadline report revealed that the actor, who plays Evan “Buck” Buckley, was one of four people on set who “sustained stunt-related injuries in varying degrees” since production began in the summer.
Oliver’s injury involved a broken ankle that later required him to undergo surgery; it occurred in August.
When news of Oliver’s injury circulated online, fans rushed to send well wishes.
“Wow! Praying everyone is okay. We don't need to hurt anyone in the last season,” one person wrote on Instagram. “Oh no! Hope everyone is on the mend soon (considering this happened a couple months ago) ❤️🩹🙏,” another penned. “I hope they're good and continue to be good,” a different follower added.
Luckily, Oliver seems to be doing well these days. He sat with 9-1-1 co-star Aisha Hinds and 9-1-1: Nashville actress Jessica Capshaw during the October 13 taping of Dancing With the Stars.
“It’s getting hot in the #DWTS ballroom with the cast of @911onabc and @911nashville here!” the caption read on Instagram. “Can’t wait to watch their premieres this Thursday 🔥.”
We hope Oliver is feeling better!
