There’s going to be some extra Jenna Bush Hager content on TV this fall!

Back in January, fans of the Today show star learned that she would be producing a new pilot called Line of Fire (formerly titled Protection). The title falls under her Thousand Voices publishing imprint and sees her partnering with creator Josh Safran and producer Ben Spector. It follows a family of law enforcement workers who work across different agencies, and it will star Hope Davis and 9-1-1 alum Peter Krause.

In an exciting turn of events, Line of Fire got greenlit to premiere this fall, airing on Monday nights at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.

Jenna took to Instagram to express her excitement.

“Finally a reason to look forward to MONDAYS! 🚨,” she wrote on May 14. “Line of Fire starring Peter Krause and Hope Davis is officially coming to @nbc and @peacock this fall. #LineOfFire. Can’t wait to get started. @joshsafran @bspeck1.”

Naturally, fans were thrilled about this.

“So excited for this series!!! I know it’s going to be something special ❤️,” one person cheered in the comments. “I am more seated than I have ever been seated before,” another agreed. “You had me at Peter Krause! Looking forward to it! 🙌,” a different follower added.

Peter seems ecstatic about Line of Fire, and he’s already teasing what’s to come.

“It’s a fantastic family-centered show which is an action thriller,” he shared on the Today show on May 12. “And the writer, Josh Safran, brings a lot of family dynamics to it: the good, the bad, the ugly, the funny, the sexy. It’s a very interesting, unusual show.”

Peter also had a hilarious quip about working with Jenna.

“I’d be out there filming, and I’d hear, ‘Again! Again! Work faster! Louder! Funnier!’” he jokingly added.

We’re so excited for this!
