With Toy Story 5 out in theaters now, we’re finding exciting collabs between Disney & Pixar and our favorite brands. Take Away, the luggage name viral for its clean and minimal aesthetics. They just dropped an entire collection of bright and colorful backpacks and carry-ons for kids, and it’s making my childhood heart so happy.
Let me just get this out of the way—these items are selling out fast (the backpacks are already sold out on Away’s website. Luckily, we found them on Amazon, sold under the Away’s official storefront for $98 each.
You can choose between classic Woody Yellow, a fierce and playful Jessie Red, courageous Buzz Purple, and the adorable Alien Green, inspired by the film’s The Little Green Men. Each backpack measures 13.6” x 11.4” x 6.5” and features two water bottle pockets, a zippered front pocket, a tablet pocket, and a trolley sleeve.
There’s even a little D-ring to attach keychains and charms (smart move in my opinion!). Also, per the brand, the backpacks are machine washable.
Additionally, Away’s Toy Story 5 collection features four carry-ons in the same character prints. (Fun little fact: Alien Green glows in the dark.) Each carry-on is still available online both at Away and Amazon for $278. They weigh 6.4 pounds and measure 19.1” x 12.8” x 8.9”.
Away isn’t just another trendy fad. Good Housekeeping pros at the Textiles, Apparel & Paper Lab praise the brand and named their carry-ons among the best in their luggage tests. They proved to resist scuffs and dents in our drop tests, and our Lab analysts found the carry-ons spacious and lightweight, plus they appreciate the multiple handles around the side and bottom of the bag.
