Now that it’s mid-August, I’ve been leaning into autumn prep (I’m a Halloween girly)—but Jenna Bush Hager just reminded me that it isn’t time to break out my fall wardrobe just yet. That’s because she recently wore a cheery dress on air that gave major Amalfi Coast vibes.
In an episode from earlier this week, the TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle host donned a white, sleeveless jacquard shift dress that featured a bright lemon-plant design. The original number Jenna wore is by Oscar de la Renta, and although it’s mostly unavailable across clothing retailers (unless you want to spend over $1,000 on eBay), you can find some similar options to flaunt before summer comes to an end.
Case in point? This adorable sleeveless maxi that’s available on Amazon. The $35 dress features a similar lemon-plant print over white—but unlike Jenna’s, this one has a fitted top and a square-neck design with a chic scallop trim. Although this look screams “summer,” I think you can totally throw on a denim jacket and some tennis sneakers as we transition to fall.
Jenna paired the dress with her signature tennis necklace (another tip I’ll take from her). The host almost always has got something adorned on her neck, and we’ve seen her accessorize with this tennis necklace a few times recently. It’s proven to be the perfect piece of jewelry to match everything from bright-and-cheery dresses to edgy, Grease-esque looks.
