This is not a drill: M&S is giving away free chocolate.
The treat in question is the viral Pistachio Big Daddy Bar – a chunky slab of milk chocolate packed with gooey caramel, crunchy pistachios, velvety pistachio crème and biscuit crumb. At £8.50 a bar, it’s well worth making a special trip for.
The offer is available through M&S’s Parent Hood club, designed for new and expectant parents (although anyone can join, and we won’t tell if you're claiming the chocolate purely for yourself). As someone who spent more than my fair share of maternity leave mornings in an M&S Café, fuelled by coffee and the weekly free slice of cake, I can confirm it’s one of the better loyalty schemes out there.
And now, there’s another reason to sign up: free chocolate.
How to get your free M&S chocolate
Claiming yours is simple.
First, sign up to the Parent Hood club if you haven’t already.
Then head to the Sparks section of the M&S app, activate the offer and pick up your chosen treat in store. Scan your Sparks card at the checkout and the discount will be applied automatically.
Who can claim the offer?
The giveaway is available to members of M&S Parent Hood, the retailer’s club for parents and parents-to-be.
Not a member yet? Signing up is free.
What’s included?
The promotion includes the viral Pistachio Big Daddy Bar, but that’s not your only option.
Alternatively, you could go for the classic Big Daddy Bar, the Made Without Truffle Selection or the Plant Kitchen Vegan Cocoa Dusted Truffles.
One thing to note: the Little Big Daddy Bar isn’t included in the promotion, so go big!
When does the offer end?
As this is technically a Father’s Day giveaway, you’ll need to claim yours by 21 June.
And if you needed an excuse to pop into M&S this week, we’d say free chocolate is a pretty good one.
