Some very exciting news landed in my inbox today - so exciting in fact that I had to share the news with you all immediately. And if you're a Biscoff lover, you'll want to read this.
Biscoff is officially getting into the Christmas spirit with the launch of a limited-edition festive biscuit, and this year there's an extra-indulgent twist. Alongside the classic caramelised biscuits we all know and very much love, the brand is introducing chocolate-coated Christmas-shaped Biscoff biscuits to make it extra indulgent! If you ask us, we're keen to grab a pack now and tuck right in.
And they'll be landing in Tesco stores from next week (on 12 August to be exact). The new range comes in three festive designs: Santa, snowmen and reindeer – proving that even the iconic little red biscuit can get an upgraded Christmas makeover.
While the shapes have changed, the flavour hasn't, but personally being dipped in chocolate is exactly what was missing on these spiced biscuits to begin with. Expect the same unmistakable caramelised, spiced biscuit with its signature crunch that's made Biscoff one of the nation's favourite coffee companions. The chocolate-coated version simply adds an extra layer of creamy indulgence, and we have a feeling those are going to be the first to disappear from supermarket shelves.
The festive biscuits come in multipacks containing either eight original twin packs or four chocolate-coated twin packs, making them ideal for popping into lunchboxes, enjoying with a coffee or, if you're feeling particularly organised, tucking away for Christmas stockings.
The limited-edition range launches in Tesco on 12 August, priced at £2 a pack, or £1.50 with a Clubcard, before rolling out more widely later in the season.
