Whether you’re celebrating top grades, breathing a sigh of relief that exams are finally over or simply looking for an excuse to eat out, there are plenty of freebies up for grabs this August.
From free pizza and pad Thai to starters and desserts, we’ve rounded up the offers worth knowing about for A-level results day on 13 August and GCSE results day on 20 August. Just remember to bring proof of your results and check the T&Cs before heading out, as some deals are limited, require a code or are only available while stocks last.
Zizzi
Offer: Free classic pizza
How to claim: Be one of the first 30 students through the door and buy a soft drink. You’ll need to show your 2026 exam results.
Who doesn’t love pizza? But free pizza – now we’re talking. And don’t worry if the first 30 have beaten you to it: you can still get 50% off a classic pizza until 5pm when you buy a soft drink.
PizzaExpress
Offer: Bottomless pizza and dough balls for £12.50
How to claim: Show your 2026 results day letter when dining in and place your order before 5pm. Everyone at the table needs to take part in the £12.50 offer.
Come hungry for this one! Although not technically a freebie, PizzaExpress is offering 90 minutes of bottomless classic pizza and its famous dough balls for just £12.50 per person, which sounds like a pretty good deal to us. You can mix and match between five pizzas, including Margherita, American and Sloppy Giuseppe, with vegan and gluten-free options available too.
Nando’s
Offer: Free ¼ chicken or starter
How to claim: Show your student ID and 2026 exam results at the till and spend £7 or more. The offer is available for eat-in or walk-in collection.
Nando’s Results Day Dash is back! Students can choose between a free quarter chicken or a starter when you spend £7, so whether you’re after a cheeky peri-peri chicken or halloumi, there’s plenty to tempt you.
Slim Chickens
Offer: Three free chicken tenders and a dipping sauce
How to claim: Head online to get a code, add it to the Slim Chickens app and show your A-level results in a participating restaurant on 13 August.
Slim Chickens is dishing out three of its hand-breaded chicken tenders, plus your choice of dipping sauce, completely free – and there's no minimum spend. Just note that unlike many of the other offers on our list, this one's for A-level students only.
Rosa’s Thai
Offer: Free pad Thai
How to claim: Buy a bubble tea (available from £5.20), show your results and present the unique code you received after signing up online in advance.
If noods are more your thing, this is the freebie for you. There are more than 4,000 pad Thais up for grabs across Rosa’s Thai restaurants in England and Wales, but don’t leave it until results day to sign up.
itsu
Offer: Free chicken or vegetable gyoza
How to claim: Show your 2026 A-level or GCSE results, along with proof of your name, at a participating itsu restaurant.
No purchase necessary for this one – itsu is giving away thousands of free portions of steamed gyoza on both results days. Choose between chicken or vegetable gyoza, both served with dipping sauce.
Bird & Blend
Offer: Free iced matcha
How to claim: Show your GCSE or A-level results at a Bird & Blend store on the relevant results day. Teachers can get one, too, by showing their teacher ID.
Need a caffeine hit after all that exam stress? Bird & Blend is giving students a free Iced Superstar Matcha (worth £5.25) with no purchase necessary. And in a nice twist, teachers are included, so they can raise a drink to the end of exam season, too.
Wagamama
Offer: 25% off your food bill
How to claim: Show your physical or digital GCSE or A-level results to your server when dining in on 20 August.
Wagamama is knocking 25% off students’ food bills for one day only, whether you’re picking up your GCSE results or already have your A-level grades in hand. So, if you’ve been eyeing up a celebratory curry or bowl of ramen, Thursday’s the day to do it.
Bill’s
Offer: Free dessert
How to claim: Show your 2026 A-level or GCSE results and order a main course or brunch from the à la carte menu.
Got a sweet tooth? Bill’s is picking up the bill for dessert this results day, with one free pud per student. There’s no limit on party size and multiple students can claim at the same table, so it’s a good one for celebrating with your mates.
Las Iguanas
Offer: Free starter and dessert
How to claim: Buy an adult main meal and show your exam results. You’ll also need to claim your voucher online.
This one’s particularly good for a group celebration: up to six guests can get a free starter and dessert when they each order a main. Think hot honey halloumi to start, followed by churros for pud.
Banana Tree
Offer: Free starter and dessert
How to claim: Buy an adult main meal and show your exam results. You’ll also need to claim your voucher online.
Bringing friends or family? They’re in luck, as guests who order a main can also get a starter and dessert on the house. Our pick would be the juicy satay skewers followed by mango rice pudding.
Frankie & Benny’s
Offer: Free starter and dessert
How to claim: Buy an adult main meal and show your exam results. You’ll also need to claim your voucher online.
This is another one where the whole table can benefit, provided everyone orders a main. There’s some serious comfort food on offer, including the giant mozzarella stick and loaded sundaes.
Bella Italia
Offer: Free starter and dessert
How to claim: Buy an adult main meal and show your exam results. You’ll also need to claim your voucher online.
Students and their guests get the same deal when they order a main, too. We have our eye on the garlic and chilli king prawns followed by the warm chocolate brownie with vanilla gelato.
