When it comes to gifting and finding something for everyone, M&S is typically our go-to. And now that the Christmas snacks and gifts are out on full display in stores, they've made an even stronger case for why we end up doing so much of our shopping there. Their latest launch is a brilliant 2-in-1 gift that starts life as a tin of buttery shortbread biscuits before transforming into a magical Christmas projector.
Filled with all-butter star-shaped shortbread biscuits (including some studded with dark chocolate chips), the festive tin rotates to reveal a moving winter wonderland scene, while lights from the side and top project a star-filled constellation around the room. It's a festive keepsake that we'd happily bring out year after year, long after the biscuits have disappeared. We've seen plenty of interpretations of the humble biscuit tin from M&S over the years, but we think this is one of the best designs yet.
Whether you're buying for children, grandchildren or simply want it for yourself, it's a sweet alternative to the usual festive biscuit tin. And for only £10 it feels like a gift and a treat rolled into one, and we'd happily keep it on display throughout December.
The Magical Projector Chocolate Chip Shortbread Biscuit Tin is already available now in M&S stores, and we have a feeling it'll be one of the most popular festive launches this year.
M&S launched 300 brand-new Christmas food products last week, where they'll slowly be landing in M&S Foodhalls this season. We've already had our eye on the indulgent Gingerbread Latte Whip, and couldn't stop snacking on the returning Dark Chocolate & Chilli Tortillas – the sweet-and-spicy cult favourite that's finally back on shelves. If those launches are anything to go by, M&S is once again making a very convincing case for being our first stop for all things Christmas
