Every Christmas there are a handful of festive treats we can't wait to get our hands on. Treeslets (IYKYK), a bottle of Baileys, and a bag of Cadbury Snowballs are always high on our list. But this year, there's a new contender in town – and it might just tempt us away from our beloved Snowballs.
Meet Poppets Snowies: smooth milk chocolate balls coated in a crisp white sugar shell that look just as festive as they taste. But what really caught our attention, was the price.
A 100g bag of Poppets Snowies costs just £1 at Iceland and The Food Warehouse at the moment, while a 74g bag of Cadbury Snowballs is currently priced at £1.98. So not only are Snowies almost half the price, you actually get more chocolate in a bag too – making them one of the best-value festive chocolate buys we've spotted (so far) this Christmas.
Whether you're trying to keep festive food costs down or simply fancy trying something a little different this year, we'd say they're well worth adding to your shopping list. The crunchy sugar shell gives way to smooth and creamy milk chocolate inside, making them dangerously hard to stop eating.
Available now from Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we have a feeling these won't stay a hidden gem for long so we'd be quick.
