Some Christmas biscuit tins are destined for the recycling bin once the last biscuit has disappeared, but Aldi's brand-new Perfect Christmas Grotto Bakery Tin definitely isn't one of them.
Available in stores from 15 November, the adorable keepsake tin is embossed with festive scenes, lights up and even plays gentle Christmas music, making it feel much more like a decoration and souvenir than simply somewhere to store biscuits. And at just £9.99, we think it's one of the loveliest Christmas gifts we've seen for under £10.
Inside you'll find four bags of miniature gingerbread biscuit, which are actually flavoured with warming cinnamon rather than traditional ginger. The flavour is gentle and subtly spiced, reminding us of a classic gingernut biscuit with lovely caramelised sweetness. They're small enough for little hands and, thanks to the mild cinnamon flavour, we'd say they're a great choice for children as well as adults.
The tin was even awarded Gold at the 2026 Christmas UK Quality Food & Drink Awards, where it picked up the prize for Best Design for Children, and there's no denying it looks wonderfully festive and is guaranteed to be a hit with kids.
We're loving all of these amazing Christmas biscuit tins launching this year. The M&S ones have been a real highlight too - so plenty of options depending on where you usually shop or what your budget is.
