The BBC has confirmed the return date for Inside No. 9.
Series 6 of Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith's dark anthology will premiere on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer on Monday, May 10 at 9.30pm.
The first chapter will be titled 'Wuthering Heist' and will see Pemberton and Shearsmith put on masks as they attempt a diamond robbery.
Speaking about the episode to Empire, Pemberton said: "We've both done acting training and we did a lot of mask work at our college, so we thought, 'Let's use our mask work – but mixed with a heist movie.
"'What is it like to mash up commedia dell'arte with Quentin Tarantino?'"
In January, it was revealed that the series will feature some very impressive guest stars, including Line of Duty's Adrian Dunbar, Sian Clifford from Fleabag and Peep Show's Paterson Joseph.
Joining them will also be Lindsay Duncan (Black Mirror), comic Kevin Bishop, actor Nick Mohammed, Coronation Street actress Bhavna Limbachia and Game of Thrones' Gemma Whelan.
And Sir Derek Jacobi, who voiced Dennis Fulcher in series 3 entry 'The Devil of Christmas', will become the first guest star ever to make a return appearance.
Speaking after they finished filming, Shearsmith and Pemberton said: "We started filming in March last year but had to hit pause due to the pandemic. After a nine-month gestation it's a relief to finally deliver our sixth series to the world.
"As proud parents we couldn't possibly choose a favourite, but like any youngest sibling this series is cheeky, funny – and can get away with murder."
Inside No. 9 airs on BBC Two.
