Gogglebox's Tom Malone Sr got more than he was expecting after accidentally whistling at his Rottweiler dog in hilarious scenes.
Tonight's episode (April 14) saw the nation's armchair critics give their opinions on Obsession, Rise and Fall and Dr. Down Below. However, it was during an episode of Sara Pascoe's Last Woman on Earth that the Malones' beloved pet dog Dave stole the show.
The BBC show saw Pascoe visit a monastery on a remote Greek island where the inhabitants communicate via whistling.
Feeling inspired by the show, the Malone family patriarch couldn't resist joining in with the whistling, despite being warned against it by his wife.
Unfortunately for Tom, the whistling was swiftly misinterpreted by the dog, as Dave hilariously pulled him out of the chair and onto the floor while Julie and Shaun watched on in fits of laughter.

While Tom was clearly unimpressed by his pet's behaviour, viewers at home were amused. "Dave wants to go for walkies," one person tweeted.
"Genuinely my all-time #Gogglebox highlight. Dave rules," another added.
This isn't the first time Rottweiler Dave has stolen the show either, with the dog previously jumping in to "save" Tom from a dog mask he was wearing.
Meanwhile, the family recently gave some advice to future Gogglebox hopefuls looking to join the show, stressing that authenticity is crucial to winning over audiences.
"Just be yourself, because the public are very good at picking out people that are natural, and what have you – so, just be yourself," Julie told the Radio Times.
Gogglebox airs on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4 and streams on All4.
