The Princess of Wales is world-renowned for her impeccable style, famous for nailing the perfect look and tone for every event she attends, from State Banquets to local meet and greets. For years, the woman behind so many of those looks has been Natasha Archer - until now.
The Princess' style has inspired countless copies over the years, with pieces she wears - from high street to high end - frequently selling out. Kate has also become associated with particular styles of dress and even prints, most notably polka dots. Natasha Archer is the stylist behind so many of Kate's recognisable looks, although the Palace don't officially use that title. Now, Kate's stylish 'aide' has left The Princess' side, taking the decision to quit so she can start a new venture of her own.
Starting a fresh Instagram account, Natasha has announced a new business in her own name, of which she is founder and creative director. When working with royalty, discretion is paramount, which Natasha has made her unique selling point - evidenced by the fact she hasn't name-dropped The Princess of Wales or any other clients in her new company announcement.
Instead, Natasha wrote; 'After almost two decades working within private households, I’m delighted to begin this new chapter, offering discreet, bespoke advisory services for those seeking considered guidance across wardrobe, personal presentation, creative direction, and the finer details that shape important moments.'
In another post, she then described her brand's mission as 'helping individuals and families present themselves with confidence and complete assurance.' She added that, 'through precision and refinement, we shape the details so every impression feels effortless, assured and entirely seamless.'
With Natasha on her exciting new journey, the next question is who will be taking over. According to The Times, there are two names rumoured to be lining up for the job. One is Ginnie Chadwyck-Healey, a friend of The Princess of Wales and former Vogue magazine staffer. The other is Isabel Spearman, who dressed Samantha Cameron, wife of former Prime Minister David Cameron.

We'll have to wait and see who takes up the mantle, or whether it could be a more combined approach going forward. One thing is for certain, is that whoever takes over has very big (and stylish) shoes to fill.
Over the years, The Princess of Wales has expanded the brands she works with, but some staples remain. Emilia Wickstead, Alessandra Rich, Jenny Packham and Suzannah London are all designers which Kate - and other women of the Royal Family - rely on. However, she has also worn plenty of pieces from high street ranges including GH favourites M&S, Boden and Zara.
