Based on Elin Hilderbrand’s 2023 novel of the same name, the series revolves around famous cook and bestselling author Hollis Shaw (Jennifer Garner), known for her impeccable taste and warm demeanour. Following a devastating loss (we won't reveal who), however, the seemingly pristine life she’s built begins to show cracks – from her complicated relationship with her daughter to the validation she craves from her fans.

In the hope of overcoming her grief, she makes the decision to host a sun-soaked weekend away at her house in Nantucket with old friends from different chapters of her life, including Gigi Ling (Gemma Chan), Dru-Ann Jones (Regina Hall), Tatum McKenzie (Chloë Sevigny) and Brooke Kirtley (D’Arcy Carden). The soul-searching weekend is set against the serene backdrop of the Massachusetts island, which should make for a blissful trip - but buried tensions and long-buried secrets soon surface as the group’s relationships are put to the test.

If you're a fan of Sheridan Smith, we'd highly recommend The Teacher, which is now available to watch on Disney+. Jenna Garvey (played by Sheridan) is an English teacher who's accused of sleeping with a 15-year-old student after a drunken night out - and to make matters worse, she doesn't remember a thing. For a relationship drama of a different kind, we’d suggest Marriage, which stars Sean Bean and Nicola Walker as married couple Ian and Emma. We follow the pair as they navigate the ups and downs of their 30-year marriage and the result is a brilliant but rather confronting series! Marriage is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
