The six-part series, which first aired in 2013, takes us to Cannes, but it shows us a different side of the ultra-glamorous film festival venue. In the series, a strong-willed French detective, Camille Delmasse (Lucie Lucas), and a charming conman, Harry King (Jamie Bamber), are an unlikely duo who solve crimes in the French Riviera.
You’re probably wondering why a detective is working alongside a swindler? Well, Camille keeps coming across the shady art dealer, and he proves to be invaluable to taking down other criminals – particularly when it comes to helping her try and clear her father, a former police chief, of corruption charges. However, their bicker-banter chemistry is somewhat complicated by Camille’s actual partner, Léa Robert (Shy'm).
The drama marks the first time since the 1970s that an English detective drama was set on the Côte d’Azur. Across the series, they solve a plethora of gripping cases, including the murder of a street artist, the poisoning of a casino owner’s wife and a death at Cannes film festival… But will the pair end up working together to free her father?
