It's certainly been a hot summer in the UK this year, and while you might have nailed down your perfect airy summer midi or favourite skirt of the season, there's one summer essential which can be tricky to get right - sunglasses. With every face a different shape and proportion, finding a style that works for you is no easy feat. However, we think Zara Tindall might have found the pair that could suit just about anybody.
On Tuesday (11 August), Zara stepped out in Germany a pair of stylish shades, which we've managed to track down online. Arriving for a gala event at the opening of the FEI World Championships (a global equestrian event), Zara wore a sleek, sleeveless black ensemble with a pair of sunglasses by independent British eyewear brand, Finlay. The royal was wearing the 'Tavistock' style which employ the clever combination of being a statement fit but with a translucent frame, meaning the shape feels defined without being imposing.
The pair are available to buy online (at time of writing) for £160 (making it a similar price point to a popular sunglasses brand like Ray-Ban). With a choice of eight colours and designs, there's a pair which should suit everyone - although Zara appears to be wearing the 'champagne' colour if you want to choose the same model. Plus, if you're not sure, the website has a handy 'virtual try on' tool, too.
Zara was spotted wearing the same pair earlier this year while attending Wimbledon alongside husband Mike Tindall. The royal was snapped enjoying the action on day ten of the event, as she kept cool with a hand-held fan in the stands. For the occasion, Zara opted for a breezy summer midi, wearing a blue and white striped look by Australian designer Rebecca Vallance.
Wimbledon was a somewhat of a hotspot for the Royal Family this year, with many members heading to SW19 to get in on the action. As is tradition, the Princess of Wales was there to present prizes to the singles finals winners, but also made an unexpected appearance earlier during the event when she surprised guests waiting in the queue outside the grounds. Kate even had a go on the ticket desk.
For the final day of The Championships, the Princess was joined by her husband, Prince William and two of her three children; Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
