Well, that was eventful. Episode two of the new season of The Celebrity Traitors is done and dusted, and while we didn't get to find out who got banished (Richard E. Grant... surely?), we did get plenty of info that points towards what will happen next.

One big prediction we're making? Jerry Hall is in trouble. Big, big trouble.

Episode two saw all the players buried in coffins in pairs and told that if either player yelled out 'haggis', both halves of the pair would escape their coffins... but be up for murder that night. The moment the dirt started to land on her and Hannah Fry's coffins, Jerry – understandably! – panicked and delivered an urgent cry of 'haggis!'. Ross Kemp, who was previously chosen by the traitors to be freed of the entire coffin business and get to decide, along with partner Romesh Ranganathan, the strategy for the task, immediately prioritised digging up all the faithful in order to get them all off the could-get-murdered shortlist.

This strategy paid off... for most of the Faithful. The only two players up for murder that night were Hannah and Jerry. Meaning they've each got a 50/50 chance of surviving the night. But here's the problem: if Jerry gets lucky and Hannah is the one to be murdered, Jerry immediately becomes a major source of suspicion.

Why the faithful will be suspicious of Jerry if Hannah gets murdered

Jerry has already attracted quite a bit of attention. In the first task, she took charge and got called 'bossy'. She has been very vocal in her defence of Richard E Grant despite his massive mistake. If Hannah is killed off, I think people will start to question why Jerry shouted out 'haggis' so early. They'll wonder: was it really so bad in there that Jerry immediately needed to escape? Could Jerry have been a traitor all along, and have used the 'haggis' get-out to ensure there'd at least be someone to murder, suspecting that Ross Kemp would save all the faithful?

Of course, all of us know that's not the case. But the players are already in such a state of paranoia that this turn of events seems inevitable. They'll look straight at Jerry because of her 'haggis', then remember her defence of Richard, and – if Richard is successfully banished and outed as a traitor – assume that Jerry was covering for a fellow traitor.

There will also be major questioning of the traitors' decision-making if Hannah is the one who gets killed. Hannah is one of the few faithful with a bit of heat on her. She is also a very dangerous player because she's so smart, and known to be super smart. When she called out the traitors at the round table, declaring the murder of Amol the 'obvious choice', she will have pissed them right off. This has made murdering Hannah, too, the 'obvious choice'. But then... why murder a faithful who could be banished out as a suspected traitor?

Richard's banishment (which, again, we assume HAS to happen, right?) followed by Hannah's murder will confuse the faithful. They'll look to Richard's allies, land on Jerry, then have their suspicion snowball because she enacted the 'haggis' get-out.

But! There's a possible out for Jerry. Look at who else Hannah has pointed at with suspicion: Leigh Anne.

Why Leigh-Anne will come under suspicion

In the car, Hannah told Joanne and Maya that she thought Leigh-Anne was a traitor because of her make-up theory – she spotted Leigh-Anne touching up her lipgloss before bed, which she surmised meant she couldn't be going straight to sleep. But at the round table, Joanne shared that theory. Meaning only Joanne and Maya know that Hannah was suspicious of Leigh-Anne. Maya can use this information to put Leigh-Anne right in the firing line.

Picture this: Maya opts to kill off Hannah. Leigh-Anne, not knowing that Hannah was suspicious of her to begin with, is caught by surprise when Maya and Joanne turn on her. She doesn't respond well enough to convince anyone, then out she goes, decided to be a traitor.

The makeup theory could be the only thing that saves Jerry from banishment. It'll be enough suspicion that the vote will at least be split.

We'll have to wait a week to find out what happens next. 'We are at risk of being the most idiotic group of faithfuls,' said Julie, of if they didn't vote out Richard. 'We would be the best faithful that have ever played this game,' said Joe, of if they did.

Will they be the best or the most idiotic? Who will be the second to be murdered? Will the faithful ever let go of the shield theory? When will the perfume bottles come into play? We'll be tuning in on Thursday at 8pm to find out.
