The final episode of The Celebrity Traitors series 2 is almost here! If, like the rest of the nation, you’re wondering what time the all-important final is on, we’ve got the answer. We also couldn’t help but notice that we’re in for a "movie-length" episode (it’s a whopping 80 minutes long), so we’ve done some investigating and we’re here to tell you why.
Yes, we’ve already had plenty of shock revelations – thank you Richard E. Grant and James Acaster. We’ve also had newfound friendships (Miranda Hart and well, pretty much everyone) but what we haven’t had is nearly enough drama. Yes, things seriously heated up in the penultimate episode, thanks to James's "bombshell" and Michael Sheen's detective skills, but it seems the biggest twist yet is still to come.

Why is the The Celebrity Traitors final so long?
Now, for the most important question, why are we about to get the longest episode in Traitors history? We’ve put our investigative skills to work and we have a few theories…
A secret mission
We've already seen one secret Traitors mission in the form of perfume-gate, but what if something bigger is on the cards? Our theory is that the final mission will play a part in it, with our two remaining Traitors tasked with committing a murder in plain sight - during the mission! So far, so straightforward - but if one Faithful clocks them, what a showdown it would cause.
An all-Traitor Fire Pit ceremony
Now, you might have heard talk of a “game-breaking” event and some fans believe it will take the form of an all-Traitor Fire Pit ceremony. Hear us out. It wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened as this very event took place in series 2 of the Australian version. And, given we’re heading into the final episode with 2 Traitors out of 7 players, anything could happen. A double murder, a recruitment, a surprise departure...
The Secret Traitor
Traitors fans will remember Fiona Hughes, the 60-something government officer from Swansea who was the 'Secret Traitor' in the civilian version of the show earlier this year. Ever since that series ended, rumours were rife that we’d see another Secret Traitor in the celebrity version. Have we? No. But will we? Quite possibly - and that really would be the biggest twisted yet.
Some fans thought they'd spotted her in the form of Joanne McNally who made a comment suggesting she’d experienced the hide and seek task ("it was horrible," she said) even though she supposedly wasn’t involved in it. Frankly, they were wrong. But there is someone else we've got our eye on and he goes by the name of Romesh Ranganathan who's been rather quiet, you might agree. Has he been made a Traitor and we don’t know it yet? Quite possibly – and what a final that would make it if it’s true.
