We’re big fans of silky soft bedding here at Good Housekeeping – who isn’t? But when you’re shopping through a screen, it’s hard to know if what you’re buying will live up to your luxurious, five-star expectations.

That's why we're fans of bamboo bedding. The fast-growing plant transforms into a seriously buttery textile that gets softer with every wash. Plus, it’s thermoregulating, antibacterial, naturally hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking and breathable – all properties that make it perfect for sleeping comfortably through summer heatwaves!

Panda London is one of our favourite places to shop for bamboo bedding – the brand uses organic bamboo, and provides a lot of detail on its eco credentials, so you can rest easy at night, in more ways than one.

Crucially, its products are seriously snuggly. Many have passed through the doors of the Good Housekeeping Institute and often perform well, leaving our panel extremely well rested.

Now’s the perfect time to shop! Panda’s summer sale is in full swing, with up to 25% off its bestselling mattresses, pillows, duvets and more on the Panda London site. The offer ends at midnight on Monday 31st August, so don’t miss your chance to save.

The best Panda bedding to shop now

Panda's 2026 UK Sleep Report has revealed that only 38% of us get the recommended seven to nine hours' sleep a night, while 42% get just five or six (out of 2,000 people surveyed).

Alongside good sleep hygiene, the right bedroom set-up can make a real difference to how comfortable you feel night after night. With that in mind, this is the Panda bedding our experts and at-home testers really rated for a great night's sleep.

How we test sleep products

This is an image

To find the best sleep products across all categories, our experts put them through rigorous testing both in the lab and in real-world conditions with the help of our at-home panellists.

At the Good Housekeeping Institute, our in-house team assess the overall quality and design of each product, putting them through multiple wash tests to check for shrinkage, colour fading and changes in quality.

We also send the products to our at-home testers, who trial them for anywhere between two and eight weeks to see how they perform. Then, they feed back on their experiences, commenting on design, comfort, breathability, ease of use and performance.

Our experts collate all the feedback and award each product an overall score.
