The View fans, it’s time to mark your calendars.
It’s been a few months since we’ve seen Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin on daytime TV. But the wait is over: The View revealed on Instagram that its new season premieres Tuesday, September 8, 2026, on ABC.
The View’s social team also called it a special milestone: The upcoming season, which runs from September 2026 to summer 2027, will mark 30 years since the show debuted in August 1997.
“Your favorite women of daytime are back for season 30! ✨,” the caption read alongside a photo of The View co-hosts on August 27. “The celebration kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 8 on ABC.”
Fans were thrilled by the announcement.
“My mornings haven’t been the same. Can’t wait,” one person wrote. “Yessssss!!!!! Our sisters are BACK!!!! 👏💖⭐️✨,” another exclaimed. “👏👏👏👏❤️ I’m so happy the show is coming back! I miss you girls so much, and you all look absolutely fabulous! ❤️😍 I can’t wait to see you all again!” a different follower added.
The 50-second promo also nodded to the late Barbara Walters, who created the show and was one of the original co-hosts alongside Joy, Meredith Vieira, Star Jones, and Debbie Matenopoulos.
“OK, Barbara started it all when she said, ‘Take a little time to enjoy the view,’” the announcer stated in the video posted on YouTube. “And now, it’s the 30th season of The View.”
We can’t wait!
