The new Uniqlo: C collection has cracked autumn chic with 15 pieces stylish women actually want, from £23
For luxury-chic at non crazy prices, look no further

If you love quality clothes that are beautifully cut, look luxury-coded and are designed to work together in chic outfits, I have good news! The new Uniqlo: C collection has just arrived at Uniqlo.
If you’re not sure why this is a cause for excitement, let me explain. Uniqlo: C is the in-house fashion collection by Uniqlo’s global creative director Clare Waight Keller.
Clare is a designer with serious talent, and frankly incredible credentials. Between 2011 and 2020 she designed Chloe and Givenchy collections in Paris and in 2018 famously created Meghan Markle’s wedding dress. In 2023 though, motivated by her desire to bring luxury design at non-crazy prices to as many people as possible, Clare joined Uniqlo.
Oh, and she is also an incredibly chic 50-something who knows exactly how women of all ages want to dress to look modern and more youthful in their day-to-day life.
And Uniqlo: C – the C standing for Clare – is where you’ll find the pieces and outfit ideas, closest to her high fashion vision.
Pieces like her double-faced wool blend tailored jacket, (£79.90) which is cut perfectly across the shoulders finishing in a precise line. Her barrel cord and cotton barrel trousers (£39.90) come in carefully chosen colours from an off white to a tobacco brown – and a pair of brilliant soft pink cords – which match back to the cashmere knits, shirts, thermal layers and cardigans included in the range.
These include Clare’s upgraded Heattech range featuring 9% cashmere which is 1.5% warmer than regular Heattech items. In this edit, I’ve selected the pink layering polo neck (£22.90), but it comes in 13 further colours including pretty shades of lemon yellow and pastel green.
Wear on its own or under a matching v-neck knit, and style with slouchy barrel trousers and a jacket, and you’ve got an everyday style that looks straight from the Paris catwalk.
Other worth-it pieces include the zip-up funnel-neck “Milano” cotton cardigan (£39.90), which comes in red, khaki, navy and wine shades. If you want to modernise your cardigan game, this will do it. The Uniqlo: C duffle coat is, I can confirm, beautifully cut, and toasty warm.
Also included in the range for the first time is a pair of knee-high black boots, which look worth ten times their £59.90 price tag.
If you generally feel overwhelm on retail websites – that will be most of us, right? – start here with the best 15 pieces in the Uniqlo: C range. Click through to see the full range of colours, and use these to build your own luxury coded style for the season ahead, and beyond.
