Every single time we walk into M&S, we tell ourselves we’re just popping in for 'a few bits'. And every single time, we leave clutching one of their Very Moreish Munch snack tins. It’s become a ritual at this point.
If you somehow haven’t encountered it yet, let us introduce you properly. It’s the viral snack tin packed with chocolate-covered salted pretzels, chocolate-covered popcorn, chocolate-covered peanuts and caramelised almonds. On paper it sounds like it might tip into dangerously sweet territory, but it’s actually far more savoury than you’d expect.
The salt from the pretzels and peanuts balances everything beautifully, so the whole mix just works really well. When we say the GH team and I can polish off a tin in one sitting, we are not exaggerating. The name is accurate. It is very, very moreish. Which is why this bit of news feels extremely important.
M&S has just launched a Very Moreish Munch Easter Egg and we genuinely didn’t think one of our favourite snacks could get any better. For £10, you get a large squirrel-shaped milk chocolate Easter egg (because squirrels like to snack, get it?), studded with roasted peanuts.
Plus, you also get a bag of the original Very Moreish Munch mix on the side. It’s sweet, salty and nutty, hitting every flavour note we look for in a snack. The chocolate egg itself is creamy and smooth, while the roasted peanuts add depth and a slightly toasty flavour that gives it a bit of a Snickers vibe which we love.
As if that wasn’t enough, we also spotted an adorable Easter-themed tin called The Original Scrummy Bunny Munch. This one is packed with jelly fried eggs, jelly carrots, jelly bunnies, milk chocolate pretzels and more.
At £10 for a 460g tin, it’s the perfect crowd-pleaser if you’re hosting, heading to an Easter picnic or just want something fun to leave out for guests.Safe to say, our Easter snacking plans are 100% sorted.
