Easter is creeping closer and closer. And with just 34 days to go, there’s a new egg on the scene causing serious waves on social media. And yes, it’s M&S again.

This time, the spotlight is on the M&S Collection Salted Caramel Egg, and it’s not your average hollow shell situation. This one is VERY generously filled. Break into it and you’re met with what can only be described as a pool of sea-salted caramel that spills out in the most gloriously messy way. It’s indulgent and if you’re a caramel lover, it’s absolutely your kind of Easter egg.

Retailing at £18 for a hefty 407g, it’s described as a lustred milk chocolate egg made with creamy Belgian chocolate and loaded with sea-salted caramel. It’s finished with delicate flakes of sea salt for that perfect sweet-and-salty hit. And it's not just one half as the image shows, you get 2x halves inside a pack, to make up one full egg.

And if caramel isn’t your thing, M&S hasn’t stopped there. The brand has also launched a pistachio version, because this hero ingredient is clearly going nowhere. The M&S Collection Pistachio Filled Shell Egg (£18 for 416g) taps straight into the ongoing pistachio obsession. Crack through the beautifully decorated Belgian milk chocolate shell and you’ll uncover a generous layer of creamy pistachio crème and white chocolate, studded with roasted pistachio pieces for a subtle crunch. Nutty, rich and undeniably indulgent.

Choosing between the two might be the hardest decision of Easter 2026. This year’s launches have been particularly strong, from viral salted caramel pools to the coffee-filled Easter egg that completely wiped out our willpower. At this rate, Easter might need to be extended just so we can try them all.
