Jaffa Cakes are getting a tropical makeover, and after the flavour they launched last year (hot honey) we kinda saw this tropical vibe coming. The news has just dropped today, unveiling that there will be a brand-new Mango flavour in the range, and it’s about to make the after lunch slump way more bearable.

Available nationwide from 20 April in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda, the new flavour brings a sunny, 'island life' twist to the classic treat we all know and love. And if you’re someone who enjoys a fruity dessert, this could just become your new favourite biscuit (or cake… we won’t start that debate again).

Each Jaffa Cake Mango features a layer of sweet, juicy mango-flavoured jelly, sandwiched between the nostalgic light sponge base and topped with that signature crackly dark chocolate coating. It’s the same usual format, just with a more exotic, summery flavour running through the middle.

We’ve been seeing more tropical flavours popping up lately (ube, anyone?), so it's great to see Jaffa Cakes tapping perfectly into this trend. It’s playful, a bit unexpected, but still very much a British classic with a twist.

At £1.50 for a 10-pack, we can already see ourselves picking up a pack regularly for picnics, or just enjoying one with a cup of tea for that sweet mid-afternoon treat.
