It's still too hot to cook, and the last thing we want to do is spend an hour standing over a hot hob, okay? So right now, we're all about speedy, fuss-free dinners, and sometimes the best meals really do come from throwing a handful of ingredients into a wok and letting them come together into a bowl of sticky, saucy noodles.

Which is why i'm such a big fan of the M&S Stir-Fry Dine In deal. Firstly, it only costs £8, secondly, it comfortably feeds two people and finally, it includes everything you need for dinner in 15: your choice of protein, vegetables, noodles or rice, plus a flavour-packed sauce. It's one of those meal deals I find myself picking up regularly whenever i'm too hot to think.

The beauty of it is how customisable it is. Personally, I always reach for the irresistible Spring Onion Fried Rice and the Soy, Ginger & Garlic sauce mixed through with golden pieces of cooked chicken, which is my comfort dinner that i'd happily eat on repeat. That said, the Udon Noodles paired with the Thai Green Curry Sauce also caught my eye and would make a brilliant, slurp-worthy supper with some prawns.

If you were to buy each component separately, it would quickly add up, but for £4 per person, you're getting a fresh, flavour-packed meal that comes together in minutes and creates zero need for chopping and very little washing up.

Of course, there's nothing stopping you from adding your own finishing touches. We'd happily throw in a handful of coriander, a squeeze of lime, some sliced spring onions or a scattering of crispy fried onions at the end to make it feel even more special.
