Krispy Kreme has joined forces with Cadbury and just in time for World Chocolate Day, today, to create what might just be one of the most indulgent doughnuts we've seen all year.
Introducing the Cadbury Dairy Milk Double Chocolate Original Glazed Doughnut. Available for just six days, from today, 7 July, until the 12th, the limited-edition launch takes Krispy Kreme's iconic Original Glazed doughnut and gives it an epic chocolatey makeover. Each one is dipped in a thick layer of creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, creating what can only be described as double the indulgence. We've seen pictures and videos of the doughnuts going through the chocolate layer and we really want to jump straight in.
Krispy Kreme's famously light, pillowy doughnuts paired with the unmistakable creaminess of Cadbury Dairy Milk? We're surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
The launch also marks the first-ever Double Chocolate Original Glazed in Krispy Kreme's history, making it a pretty big moment for fans of the classic doughnut.
And if that news wasn't enough, from today, 7 July, the brand's Oxford Street shop will be giving away 50 free dozen boxes of the new doughnuts, alongside a Spin to Win game where visitors can get their hands on a range of Cadbury prizes.
The limited-edition doughnut will be available in Krispy Kreme shops across the UK and Ireland for £2.99 each until 12 July.
