Just when you thought Colin the Caterpillar had done it all – birthdays, Christmas, skiing holidays and everything in between – M&S has just given its iconic chocolate character his spookiest makeover yet. Poor Colin has officially been dismembered!

The brand-new Colin the Caterpillar Trick or Treat Mix takes everyone's favourite caterpillar apart and packs all his 'best bits' into one Halloween sharing box. Inside you'll find chocolate sponge mini rolls, Colin's unmistakable smiling face, little chocolate boots, crunchy chocolate beans and spooky white and dark chocolate shapes, including cats and bats, all designed for sharing throughout spooky season.

M&S

It's the playful launch we've come to expect from M&S, but we didn't expect him to be in such a gruesome state! Over the years we've seen him transformed for everything from Christmas to Valentine's Day, but Halloween 2026 might just be his most entertaining makeover yet.

The mix is also a clever alternative to the usual bag of Halloween sweets. Instead of a handful of individually wrapped chocolates, you get a fun assortment of different textures and treats that is perfect for sharing during a scary movie marathon or setting out for guests on Halloween night.

Available now as part of M&S's Halloween collection, the 180g box retails for £5 and is specially made for spooky season and sharing. Between this, the magical Projector Biscuit Tin and this year's brilliant Christmas food line-up, M&S is making it increasingly difficult to leave ever leave the Foodhall. We might as well set up camp in there..
