There are some evenings when the thought of cooking dinner feels like far too much effort, and ordering a takeaway seems like the only sensible option. But with delivery fees and rising prices, what starts as a quick treat quickly becomes a rather expensive dinner - off putting right!?. Thankfully, M&S has just launched a brilliant new Dine In Meal Deal that might make that decision a whole lot easier.
The retailer's brand-new Takeaway Dine In serves four people for just £16. That's only £4 per person for a takeaway-style feast, with two mains and two sides included. And the best part is that you can choose between Indian and Chinese favourites, or mix and match both if you simply can't decide.
There are almost 3,000 possible combinations, so there's certainly no shortage of choice. For an Indian feast, we'd opt for the Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Rogan Josh, paired with fragrant Pilau Rice and fluffy Garlic & Coriander Naans. Or, if Chinese is more your thing, there's Beef in Black Bean Sauce and Chicken Chow Mein, alongside crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls and Sesame Prawn Toast. Yum! Salivating just thinking about it.
And there's absolutely nothing stopping you from mixing the two cuisines. After all, who says you can't have a curry with a side of prawn toast?
At £4 per person, it's a brilliant option for feeding the family, having friends over or simply enjoying a cosy night in without spending a fortune. Plus, there's no waiting around for a delivery driver or wondering whether your food will arrive cold.
The new Takeaway Dine In deal is available in M&S Foodhalls now, so if you're looking for an easy dinner that feels like a treat without the usual takeaway bill, we'd say this one's a no-brainer.
