She's the author of countless New York Times bestselling novels, so it's about time another one of Karin Slaughter's masterpieces came to the small screen. The Good Daughter is Sky's latest twisty crime drama offering based on the book of the same name, and will star Sirens' Meghann Fahy and Bridesmaids’ Rose Byrne as Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, two sisters caught up in tragedy that dramatically changes the course of their lives. With notes of Big Little Lies and Sharp Objects, it's safe to say it won’t fail to thrill!

The upcoming series is, as Sky puts it, a deeply emotional story about love, family, and resilience. The Quinn sisters are the daughters of controversial lawyer Rusty Quinn and nearly three decades ago, their lives were torn apart by a brutal invasion of their rural home in Pikeville, Georgia, which left their mother dead. So when, 28 years on, another shocking tragedy leaves the town traumatised, the family once again find themselves plunged into a nightmare.

While we wait for The Good Daughter to arrive on our screens this November, here’s everything you need to know about the series, including the cast, plot, trailer and how to watch it.

As we mentioned, the series is based on Karin Slaughter's 2017 novel of the same name and is set in a fictional small town in Georgia. The story revolves aroun two sisters, Charlotte and Samantha Quinn (played by Meghann Fahy - pictured above in Sirens - and Rose Byrne), whose lives were fractured 28 years ago by a traumatic night of violence from a home invasion. The brutal event left them shaken and their mother dead - and the pair, along with their lawyer father, have been trying to piece the events together ever since.

Sky’s official synopsis continues: “When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene. Now a lawyer like her father, she’s forced to confront her own demons as the case twists through one shocking revelation after another. In the end, both she and Samantha find themselves wondering if the price of being the good daughter was worth it after all.”
