Hannah Waddingham is always top of our style inspiration list and this weekend was no exception, as the star stepped out in one of her most covetable looks yet (Sunday 1 March). The 51-year-old arrived at a London theatre event in a midi dress that was equally as flattering as it was fierce.
For a night out at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to see Sea Witch, Hannah chose a long sleeve midi dress with a turtle neck collar. The cut of the dress cleverly used carefully placed seams to contour her figure. The seam down the centre mirrors the zebra-like print of the fabric, so that the pattern fans out in opposite directions and draws attention to the centre. Gently flowing the material from a triangular seam lower down also allows the skirt to fan out and create movement, without losing an hour-glass shape around the hips.
Hannah's dress is a masterclass in dressing to show off your best features. Long sleeve mid dresses are the perfect way to flatter and artfully conceal, while looking effortlessly stylish - just one piece and your look is complete.
Hannah's exact dress is the 'Ida ruffled gathered printed stretch-jersey turtleneck midi dress' by Ulla Johnson. It's available to buy online in sizes 'x small' to 'x large'. While undeniably stylish, it is at the pricier end of the scale at £660.
Inspired by her look but wanting something a little more affordable? Fear not, there are some fabulous options on the high street from some of our favourite brands including Mango and ba&sh which will look fabulous without breaking the bank.
This River Island dress also uses seams to contour around the bodice:
