Hannah Waddingham was back out and about looking fabulous (as ever) on the red carpet on Monday (9 March) but, on her Instagram account, she was getting excited about a very different event. Hannah stepped out at the event in a sultry all black look but, instead of sharing snaps of her glamorous look on social media, Hannah was extolling the talents of a different star - a singer on a TV talent show.
In an Instagram story, Hannah she shared a video of singing contestant Syd Millevoi. It seems Hannah is a big fan of watching The Voice, which is where Syd was auditioning in the video Hannah posted.
And the Ted Lasso star appeared to be seriously impressed by Syd's performance, as she captioned the clip, “Ummmm.....ok lady! Magf-ckinNIFicent!" in bold text across the screen. In the video, Syd belts out a powerful rendition of Jessie J's song 'Mama Knows Best' and her performance looks like it was just as gripping for the on-screen judges (which include Kelly Clarkson and John Legend) as it was for Hannah. Watch below:
While we can all relate to a cosy evening in watching TV talent shows (Britain's Got Talent is back, and who can forget the strangely addictive Masked Singer?), Hannah was dragged off the sofa and back back on movie star duty this week, for a film screening. Hannah arrived at the world premiere of Project Hail Mary in London's Leicester Square, and looked stunning in a black body-con dress and stylish blazer. She off-set the monochrome black with a statement punch of colour, in the form of a cherry-red handbag by Dolce and Gabbana.
Project Hail Mary is a new sci-fi blockbuster starring Ryan Gosling. According to IMDb, the plot follows a science teacher called Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) who wakes up on a spaceship but doesn't remember why he's there.
Light-years away from Earth, he is left alone to piece together his memory as he uncovers a mission. There's a mysterious substance killing the sun, which means the whole of planet Earth is at risk. Could an unlikely friendship be the key to saving the world?
