While The Prince and Princess of Wales' children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - are familiar faces and frequently attend public events, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex have largely kept their children out of the spotlight. While the couple don't reveal their son and daughter's full faces online, they do share clips and photographs of them to social media, offering a peek into their family life in California.
In her latest post over the weekend, Megan shared a new photograph of herself and daughter Lilibet sitting on some rocks overlooking the waves. The beach-side photograph is taken on a sunny day with clear blue skies, and shows Megan wrapping her arms around Lilibet as the pair enjoy the view.
Megan shared the image on Sunday 8 March, which was International Women's Day. Alongside the snap, she shared a message of hope for her daughter, captioning it, "For the woman she will one day be...Happy International Women's Day." In a video clip shared to her Instagram stories, Meghan shared a close up of the gently lapping waves, appearing to have been taken on the same beach.
The last image Meghan shared of Lilibet was back in February, in honour of Valentine's Day. In the adorable snap, Prince Harry picks up Lilibet, who holds a bundle of striking red balloons, and the scene is set against the backdrop of palm trees and a sunsetting sky. "These two + Archie = my forever Valentines" wrote Megan alongside the happy family moment.
And it seems Lilibet's not always just in front of the camera, but also sometimes behind it. Earlier this year, Meghan posted a video of her and Prince Harry dancing together, before standing arm in arm in a marsh, and credited the footage to "our daughter."
'Lilibet' was Queen Elizabeth II's nickname, and Her Majesty also enjoyed amateur photography, particularly capturing pictures and videos of her family. Perhaps Prince Harry and Meghan's daughter Lilibet could take after her namesake and great-grandmother's talent.
